Continuum Robot Kinematics

Continuum Robot Kinematics is the branch of robot kinematics that models and analyzes the configuration and motion of continuum robots—robots with continuously deformable backbones rather than discrete joints—by relating actuator inputs and distributed deformations to the robot’s spatial shape and end-effector pose without regard to forces.
