Planetary Visual Odometry

Planetary Visual Odometry is a visual navigation method that estimates the motion of a robotic vehicle on a planetary surface by analyzing sequences of images captured by onboard cameras, distinguishing itself from other odometry techniques through its reliance on feature-based visual tracking in extraterrestrial, GPS-denied environments.
