Cable-driven Manipulator Design

Cable-Driven Manipulator Design is a manipulator design approach in which the motion and force transmission are achieved through flexible cables actuated by remote motors, distinguished from rigid-link or hydraulic/pneumatic systems by its use of tension-constrained elements to enable lightweight, high-dexterity, and remotely actuated robotic structures.
