Backdrivable Actuation
Backdrivable Actuation is a type of actuation system that, as a singular academic concept, belongs to the class of mechanical actuation methods and is distinguished by its ability to allow external forces to reversibly drive motion back through the transmission, enabling direct physical interaction and energy transfer between the load and the actuator without significant impediment.
