Inverse Dynamics Modeling

Inverse Dynamics Modeling is a computational modeling technique that, given observed robot motion states and applied forces, estimates the underlying dynamic relationships governing joint accelerations by mapping motion trajectories and control inputs to the corresponding torques or forces required to produce them, distinguishing it from forward dynamics modeling by predicting causes from effects rather than effects from causes.
