Food Traceability

Food Traceability is an information and control system within the food supply chain that enables the documented identification and tracking of food products and their constituent ingredients through all stages of production, processing, and distribution so that their origin, history, and movement can be reconstructed for purposes of food-safety management, risk control, and legal accountability.
