Food System Efficiency
Food System Efficiency is an economic performance property of a food system defined by the extent to which it transforms and allocates resources (such as land, labor, capital, energy, and biological inputs) into safe, nutritious food and associated value-added outputs while minimizing losses, waste, and negative externalities across the entire supply chain.
