Corona E-Learning Cocktail : Sustainability of University Education in Times of Pandemics

Abstract

Pandemics like the Corona pandemic in 2020 influence massively the education at presence universities. Because the learning targets have to be achieved, alternative teaching methods are requested - at least temporarily. We present some approaches, which are successfully used at our university. These attempts can be combined to a "learning cocktail". We consider possible fields of applications of electronic teaching (and learning) and will discuss the respective advantages and disadvantages. Based on our positive observations, we propose new learning settings for the time after Corona, in which presence and online learning scenarios can be combined.
