Third-party Negotiation
Third-Party Negotiation is a negotiation process in which an impartial external agent, such as a mediator, arbitrator, or facilitator, intervenes to assist the primary parties in reaching a mutually acceptable agreement by managing communication, identifying interests, and proposing or imposing solutions, thereby differing from direct negotiation by introducing an authoritative or neutral intermediary to overcome impasses or enhance dialogue.
