Redemption Transactions

Redemption Transaction is a partnership reorganization event in which a partner’s interest in the partnership is acquired and extinguished by the partnership in exchange for property, thereby distinguishing it from other forms of partnership interest disposition by involving a direct redemption by the entity rather than a transfer between partners or to an external party.
