Popcorn Noise
Popcorn Noise is a type of burst noise characterized by random step-like transitions in voltage or current levels that occur at irregular intervals, caused by the trapping and de-trapping of charge carriers in semiconductor materials, and distinguished from other electronic noise sources by its distinct two-level or multi-level switching behavior resembling the popping of popcorn.
