Transformative Learning

Transformative Learning is a theory of adult learning that conceptualizes learning as the process by which individuals critically examine and restructure their taken-for-granted assumptions, beliefs, and frames of reference, thereby undergoing a perspective transformation toward more inclusive, discriminating, and integrative ways of understanding and acting in the world.
