Digital Literacy: New Approaches to Participation and Inquiry Learning to Foster Literacy Skills among Primary School Children

Abstract

Digital literacy is an important and often misunderstood concept; it has implications
\nfor all aspects of primary schooling in Ireland. The purpose of this research is to
\nestablish a useful definition and conceptual framework through which the nature of
\ndigital literacy can be examined in terms of classroom practice and thereby related to
\nthe underpinning policy and support structures.
