Platform-mediated Search
Platform-Mediated Search is a job search method wherein the process of seeking employment is facilitated and structured through digital labor platforms that algorithmically match job seekers with employers, distinguishing it from traditional or direct search mechanisms by its reliance on intermediary platform architectures to govern access, visibility, and interaction in the labor market.
