Observer-based Modeling

Observer-Based Modeling is a modeling paradigm within actuator modeling that employs an observer—a dynamic system estimating internal states—from control theory as the core mechanism to reconstruct unmeasurable states or parameters of the actuator, thereby enabling accurate characterization and compensation of nonlinearities, disturbances, or uncertainties inherent in the actuator's behavior.
