Maneuvering Control

Maneuvering Control is a ship motion control methodology that computes and applies control inputs (typically rudder, propeller, and thruster commands) to regulate a vessel’s horizontal-plane motion so as to accomplish specified maneuvers—such as course changes, turning, berthing, and collision avoidance—under dynamic environmental and actuator constraints.
