Long-read Assembly

Long-Read Assembly is a genome assembly approach that reconstructs contiguous genomic sequences from long-read, single-molecule sequencing data, leveraging read lengths typically from tens to hundreds of kilobases to span repetitive and structurally complex regions that are difficult to resolve with short-read assemblies.
