Long-read Consensus Calling
Long-Read Consensus Calling is a computational method in genome assembly that derives a high-accuracy consensus sequence from multiple long-read alignments by resolving discrepancies through positional base voting, distinguished by its adaptation to the high error rates and extended read lengths characteristic of third-generation sequencing technologies.
