High-gain Observers

High-Gain Observers is an observer design methodology in nonlinear control theory that belongs to the class of state observers and is distinguished by its use of high feedback gain to achieve rapid convergence of state estimates while enforcing robustness against modeling uncertainties through a peaking suppression mechanism.
