Contact Force Estimation

Contact Force Estimation is a methodological framework within robotic perception that enables the prediction of interactive forces at the interface between a manipulator and its environment by integrating sensor modalities such as force sensing, tactile sensing, and inverse dynamics, distinguished by its reliance on indirect or embedded sensing to infer contact forces in the absence of direct force measurement.
