Affective Performance

Affective Performance is a performative act through which emotions, bodily intensities, and relational dynamics are produced, transmitted, and negotiated in socio-symbolic settings, distinguishing itself from other performative acts by its primary investment in the generation and regulation of affective states as central to the performance’s meaning and impact.
