ABSTRACT Twenty-two constituents of laurel leaf oil originating from five different geographical places in Turkey have been quantified. The percentage of 1,8-cineole exceeds those of other oils described in literature. The antimicrobial activity was studied with several strains of bacteria and yeasts as well as some molds.
