Perceived Effort is a psychological construct within the Rational Choice Perspective that denotes the individual’s subjective assessment of the cognitive, physical, or emotional resources required to perform a given action or decision, distinguishing it from objective measures of effort by emphasizing the agent's anticipated rather than actual exertion.
