Abstract

This paper, the second of a series of six, surveys instructional methods that have been proven effective in many classroom research studies and can be implemented within the context of the ordinary engineering classroom. Topics covered include formulation of clearly defined instructional objectives and using active, cooperative, and problem-based learning.
