This paper proposes a dynamic compensation method for multivariable control systems with saturating actuators to cope with the reset windup phenomenon. A dynamic compensator is explicitly determined based on a performance index of controller states. The proposed method is applicable to any open-loop stable plants with saturating actuators whose controller has been determined by some design technique.
