A centrifugal Sephadex procedure has been adapted for separation of concentrated skimmilk, whey, and similar biological systems on the basis of molecular size. Coneentrated skimmilk and whey were separated into two fractions: a) proteins and colloidal salts and b) lactose, salts, and other dissolved components.
