Viewer Participation

Viewer Participation is a construct in environmental installation art denoting the active, often embodied engagement of individuals as co-constitutive agents in the realization and interpretation of an artistic environment, distinguished from passive observation by its emphasis on interactivity, spatial immersion, and the transformation of viewer agency into a generative component of the work.
