Conditional Gene Knockout
A Conditional Gene Knockout is a genetic engineering technique that enables the targeted inactivation of a specific gene in a spatially or temporally controlled manner within a subset of cells or tissues, distinguishing it from conventional knockouts by its dependence on external inducers or tissue-specific promoters to achieve precise spatiotemporal regulation of gene function loss.
