AMINO ACIDS EXCRETED BY MICE FED INCOMPLETE PROTEINS

Abstract

In a previous study it was noted that mice fed a diet containing 10 per cent of casein excreted from 1 to 5 per cent of the ingested amino acids in the urine in microbiologically available form (1). The present experiments deal tvit,h t,he amino acids in the urine of mice fed incomplet,e proteins such as oxidized caseiu (2) supplemented in various ways.
