Presented is a new power diode model based on a HYBRID method. This method solves the differential equations describing the semiconductor partly analytically and partly numerically. All important effects including static and dynamic temperature behavior are considered. The model is implemented in the SABER [l] circuit simulator. The model has been verified for different ranges of operation.
