A Revision of Palmore's Facts on Aging Quiz

Abstract

Because of theoretical problems with the Palmore Facts on Aging Quiz, an alternative form of the scale was developed. The two scales were compared using similar samples of college students at a large southwestern university. Evaluation of the data indicates that in some ways the alternative measure supports the Palmore scale but in other ways compensates for its weaknesses.
