Single-crystal OFET: Single-crystals of new porphyrin derivatives TTPH2 and TTPZn were obtained from slow diffusion of solvents (see graphic). The organic field-effect transistor (OFET) devices based on these single crystals show relatively high mobilities of 6.2×10−2 cm2 V−1 s−1 for TTPH2 and 0.32 cm2 V−1 s−1 for TTPZn with a high on–off current ratio of >104.
