Columnar Liquid Crystals
Columnar Liquid Crystals is a mesomorphic phase of soft matter in which anisotropic molecules self-organize into stacked, disc-shaped aggregates that form one- or two-dimensional columnar arrays, exhibiting long-range orientational order and positional order within the columns while maintaining fluidity characteristic of liquid crystals.
