Strikingly periodic negative-differential-resistance oscillations are observed in doped GaAs/${\mathrm{Al}}_{\mathrm{x}}$${\mathrm{Ga}}_{1\mathrm{\ensuremath{-}}\mathrm{x}}$As superlattices. These are produced by well-to-well sequential resonant tunneling through weakly coupled localized states.
