Observation of the integer quantum Hall effect by magnetic coupling to a Corbino ring is reported. A small solenoid is used to induce an ac azimuthal electric field in a high-mobility GaAs-${\mathrm{Al}}_{\mathit{x}}$${\mathrm{Ga}}_{1\mathrm{\ensuremath{-}}\mathit{x}}$As Corbino ring. The Hall voltage is measured between the inner and outer edges of the disk. The presence of plateaus observed in the response is a clear indication that quantization in this geometry is the consequence of bulk transport. The ac response and its frequency dependence are described by a model taking into account the effect of the self-inductance and the capacitance of the Corbino disk.
