X-ray Data Analysis

X-Ray Data Analysis is a subfield of astronomical data analysis that focuses on the calibration, reduction, and quantitative interpretation of photon-event and related datasets from X-ray observatories in order to derive imaging, spectral, and temporal properties of astrophysical sources while rigorously accounting for instrumental responses and backgrounds.
