Speculative Prototyping
Speculative Prototyping is a design research method that, as a subset of Speculative Design, employs material or conceptual artifacts to critically explore and provoke discourse about possible futures, distinguishing itself from predictive or instrumental prototyping by prioritizing philosophical inquiry, ethical reflection, and socio-technological imagination over functional problem-solving.
