Shear-induced Emulsification

Shear-Induced Emulsification is a mechanical emulsification method in which the application of hydrodynamic shear forces drives the breakup of dispersed phase droplets into a continuous phase, distinguishing it from other emulsification techniques by its reliance on controlled fluid shear rather than thermal, acoustic, or interfacial energy inputs.
