Preclinical Studies

Preclinical studies is a stage of research and development preceding human testing (clinical trials). It involves conducting laboratory (in vitro) and animal (in vivo) investigations to assess the safety, efficacy, pharmacokinetics, and preliminary toxicity profiles of potential therapeutic agents or interventions, thereby informing the decision to advance to human studies.
