Polar Surface Processes

Polar Surface Processes is a class of planetary surface processes characterized by the unique physical, chemical, and dynamical mechanisms occurring at or near the polar regions of celestial bodies, driven primarily by extreme cold temperatures, seasonal insolation patterns, ice accumulation and sublimation, and interactions between volatiles and regolith under low-energy conditions.
