Place-based Engagement

Place-Based Engagement is an academic construct that refers to a context-specific approach to public science communication wherein local knowledge, culture, and geography serve as foundational elements for designing and implementing science festival activities, thereby distinguishing it from generic or transferable engagement models by its intrinsic alignment with the unique characteristics of a particular locale.
