Paired Reading

Paired Reading is an instructional method in which two readers—typically a student and a more fluent reading partner—read aloud simultaneously from the same text, with the student initiating and the partner providing immediate modeling and support upon hesitation or error, thereby promoting reading fluency and comprehension within an interactive, scaffolded context.
