K-mer Based Assembly

K-Mer Based Assembly is a computational method in genome and transcriptome assembly that constructs sequences by enumerating and traversing overlapping k-mers derived from high-throughput sequencing reads, distinguishing itself from other assembly approaches through its reliance on fixed-length subsequences for de novo reconstruction without a reference genome.
