Ion Beam Diagnostics

Ion Beam Diagnostics is a scientific methodology comprising a set of techniques and instruments used to measure, analyze, and characterize the properties of ion beams—such as current density, energy distribution, divergence, and species composition—emitted by Hall Effect Thrusters, thereby enabling the assessment of thruster performance, beam stability, and plume behavior.
