Foam Fractionation
Foam Fractionation is a physicochemical separation process in which hydrophobic substances are selectively removed from aqueous solutions through the generation and collapse of foam, distinguished from other liquid purification methods by its reliance on surface-active compounds adsorbing to rising gas bubbles and being entrained in the resulting foam phase.
