Eed Function

EED Function is a molecular mechanism within the Polycomb repressive complex 2 (PRC2) that recognizes histone H3 lysine 27 trimethylation (H3K27me3) and enhances the complex's catalytic activity, thereby propagating gene silencing through allosteric regulation of histone methyltransferase function.
