Common Base Configuration

Common Base Configuration is a transistor amplifier configuration in which the base terminal is electrically common to both the input and output circuits, distinguished by having the emitter as the input terminal and the collector as the output terminal, thereby exhibiting low input impedance, high output impedance, and current gain less than one while providing high voltage gain.
