The demand for the quality of education is increasingly sticking with various forms. Government and higher education have a strong share in this implementation, through the application of quality lectures. Animal development is one of the subjects in the Department of Biology FMIPA Universitas Negeri Padang. Based on the observations that the research team has done quite high, consequently low learning outcomes as well. So, researchers have built a model as one solution to that. This model is a concept-based learning model, drawing and drill method. This research is a development research on product effectiveness test stage. This stage is implemented by applying the model in the lecture then the value of student learning outcomes in the form which is a combination of semester exam, semester final exam and the value of the task. The results showed the average student is 73 (class B). Based on the results of this study can be concluded concept-based learning models, drawings and methods.
