Abstract

-symmetric tripodal ligand 10, synthesized with three sulfated oligofucoside moieties of 5, exhibited much greater hemagglutination inhibition activity than 5. A plaque assay using MDCK cells demonstrated that 10 effectively inhibited influenza virus infection.
