espanolSe efectuo la caracterizacion del jugo (tanino, azucares, acido ascorbico y aceptabilidad organoleptica) y del bagazo (proteinas, hidratos de carbono, azucar, tanino y fibra cruda) de variedades libradas (33) y accesiones de plasma germinal (79) de anacardo. Sobre la base de la variabilidad verificada se desarrollaron indices de calidad y se identificaron variedades y accesiones con cualidades deseables. Entre las variedades y accesiones analizadas la variedad Jhargram 1 y la accesion de plasma germinal NRC 190 resultaron las mejores en cuanto al jugo, mientras que se determino que las variedades NRC Sel.1, BLA 139-1 y Bhubaneswar-1 y las accesiones de plasma germinal NRC 247 y NRC 160 tenian los bagazos de mejores caracteristicas. francaisLa composition biochimique du jus (tanins, flavonoides, sucres, acide ascorbique et qualites organoleptiques) et de dreches (proteines, glucides, sucres, tanins et fibres brutes) de varietes introduites (33) et d'accessions de materiel genetique (79) d'anacardier a ete caracterisee. Parmi les varietes et accessions analysees, la variete Jhargram 1 et 1' accession de materiel genetique NRC 190 sont les meilleures pour le jus, tandis que les varietes NRC Sel.l, BLA 139-1 et Bhubaneswar-1 et les accessions de materiel genetique NRC 247 et NRC 160 presentent les caracteristiques optimales pour les dreches. EnglishReleased varieties (33) and germplasm accessions (79) were characterized for biochemical composition of cashew apple juice (tannin, flavonoids, sugars, ascorbic acid and organoleptic acceptability) and pomace (protein, carbohydrate, sugar, tannin and crude fibre) . Based on the variability noted, quality indices have been developed, and varieties and accessions with desirable qualities identified. Among the varieties and accessions analysed, variety Jhargram 1 and germplasm accession NRC 190 were best for cashew apple juice, while varieties NRC Sel.l, BLA 139- 1 and Bhubaneswar-1 and germplasm accessions NRC 247 and NRC 160 were found to have the best cashew apple pornace characteristics.
